Open Wings is not a day centre. It is a small, unique, bespoke and person centered service in Nottingham which was established so that adults with a wide variety of learning difficulties could access learning and activities in a small and calm, safe, friendly and supportive environment.
It is a place to go to if day centre provision is not always suitable. Groups are smaller and tutor to learner ratio is also small.
Adult Learning is tailored to each individual and specific to their needs. If suitable, citizens can work towards gaining a work placement or employment. For more information please see our Services and About Us page.

“Open Wings was formed out of our passion and commitment to make a positive and meaningful difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities and or difficulties. It will recognise each individual for their uniqueness and diversity.”

How terribly sad if only the right care and support had been given. I can’t imagine the pain poor sally was in. The Givernment need to, at all costs, ensure that this does not happen again and that people with learning disabilities are given the support and care they need! https://t.co/yHDKdCEpQ3

I know this post says Sherwood but the whole of Notts is ok too. Come on there must be someone who can help David achieve his dream!

This week has been a tricky week.
All Hail the NHS who quickly turned around a suspicious sore lump in my armpit to be nothing more than a sore lump in my armpit due to hormones in no less than 3 days! Amazing. Plus, you know life muddles and tricky relationships - who said… https://t.co/yviL21HTYq
