Open Wings is not a day centre. It is a small, unique, bespoke and person centered service in Nottingham which was established so that adults with a wide variety of learning difficulties could access learning and activities in a small and calm, safe, friendly and supportive environment.
It is a place to go to if day centre provision is not always suitable. Groups are smaller and tutor to learner ratio is also small.
Adult Learning is tailored to each individual and specific to their needs. If suitable, citizens can work towards gaining a work placement or employment. For more information please see our Services and About Us page.

“Open Wings was formed out of our passion and commitment to make a positive and meaningful difference to the lives of adults with learning disabilities and or difficulties. It will recognise each individual for their uniqueness and diversity.”

Definitely outraged!

Feel sad looking for comment from our ‘sector’ on an insulting fine made to @autism where people with learning disabilities were being tortured. Every organisation that claims to speak with or for, or care about the rights of people with learning disabilities should be outraged

Sooo so excited for tomorrow as the @MfENotts Open Voices Choir hits Radio Nottingham

The feature is in two parts on Sunday. The first (with most of the singing & chats with the singers) is at 0750. The second at 0850 has less singing & is more the chat. 🎤
