Who we are

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

* Personal information such as name and contact details – Needed in order to contact citizen
* Names of social workers/key workers and contact numbers – Needed to liaise regarding a citizen
* Care Plans/IEP’s that may have been forwarded to us – Needed in order to support the citizen to their full ability
* Medical information – Needed in case of emergency
* Financial information regarding payments/invoices – Needed for legal purposes
* Receipts for sessions – Needed for legal purposes

Contact forms

By using our contact form, you agree to provide your name and email address. This data will remain in our email storage until we are no longer in correspondence via email. We do not store this data anywhere after this time, our emails are regularly deleted if unneeded. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How long we retain your data

Currently accounts are disabled on this website so no data should be collected. However, should we ever enable accounts in the future, if you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

Currently accounts are disabled on this website however, should we enable this in the future; If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you, this includes any paper copies that we have securely locked away. If a request is received any physical paper copies we have will be securely shredded within 48 hours of the request. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

We currently do not send any of your data anywhere. However should we ever enable visitor comments on this website then they may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Any contact information we have in digital form is kept securely encrypted on a drive that is only accessible by the directors of Open Wings.

Any hard copies we have are stored in a safe lockable unit that is only accessible by the directors of Open Wings.

Any digital data we have is securely encrypted using AES-256 and kept on a drive only accessible by the directors of Open Wings. Any Hard copies of data are stored in a safe lockable unit that is only accessible by the directors of Open Wings.

What data breach procedures we have in place

In the unlikely event of a breach the data will need to be decrypted to be readable, in order to decrypt a private key (password) will be needed this is something that only Open Wings directors will know. The key may periodically change. This means even if your data is stolen it will not be readable by the thief without the exact private key (password} ensuring your data is still secure.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive data from any third parties

Plugin: Smush

Note: Smush does not interact with end users on your website. The only input option Smush has is to a newsletter subscription for site admins only. If you would like to notify your users of this in your privacy policy, you can use the information below.

Smush sends images to the WPMU DEV servers to optimize them for web use. This includes the transfer of EXIF data. The EXIF data will either be stripped or returned as it is. It is not stored on the WPMU DEV servers.

Smush uses a third-party email service (Drip) to send informational emails to the site administrator. The administrator’s email address is sent to Drip and a cookie is set by the service. Only administrator information is collected by Drip.
